Mini Tennis

Mini tennis is a widely loved format for children who want to learn the basics in tennis and build strong friendships. We place great emphasis on safety and building a positive and encouraging environment, while at the same time providing a solid foundation in tennis. The focus is on improving technique, coordination, and of course - sharing a joy for tennis.

Many of our mini tennis students continue on to the junior tennis course.

Frequently Asked Questions

Contact us if you have any questions, we'd be happy to help!

What equipment does my child need?

Children should bring suitable tennis clothes and sports shoes or tennis shoes suitable for indoor use, as well as a tennis racket appropriate for their age. Tennis equipment can be purchased online (please contact us for discount codes from our partners) or at the tennis facility. If you have not had the opportunity to buy a racket before the term starts, you can also borrow rackets at the tennis club.

Are parents allowed to watch during practices?

Yes, parents are welcome to observe our classes! There is a lounge for visitors in the tennis facility. However, we ask that parents refrain from being on the courts, as this can be distracting for the children. Please speak to the coach in charge of the group if you have any questions or requests!

What experience do the coaches have?

We take great care to maintain high standards with our coaches, ensuring that the quality is high and the training is not only educational but also motivating and engaging for the players. Our coaches have extensive experience working with children, and their backgrounds and skills are carefully vetted to ensure high-quality training.

What happens if my child misses a lesson? Can the lesson be rescheduled?

We understand that situations may arise where players miss lessons. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a compensatory tennis session due to our scheduling constraints. However, in some cases, the player may join another group if there is a suitable group with an available slot. More information about this can be provided upon request.

Will my child have the opportunity to play matches or participate in tournaments?

Absolutely! If your child is interested in playing more often and/or participating in matches or competitive games, we will be happy to help arrange that. Please contact us for more information or advice on this matter.
